Manchester United traveled to London to face a reinvigorated Chelsea side under Thomas Tuchel. United has gone unbeaten in February and looks set to be content for a top 4 spot. Meanwhile, Chelsea is unbeaten in 9 matches since Tuchel took over the reins last month.

United thought that they would be offered to make a breakthrough in the first half after a penalty appeal for handball on Callum Hudson-Odoi but the referee ruled in favor of the home side. De Gea and Mendy were tested from range in the second half a couple of times, but both the teams failed to capitalize on their chances. This is the 6th draw for United this season against a top 6 side. Critics question their ability to put up a result against top teams. Ole’s men find themselves in second place, yet out of the title race due to the widening gap between City which is now 12 points.

Meanwhile, Liverpool labored to a 2-0 win against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. Goals from Firmino and Jones bags Liverpool their first win in 5 games. Klopp stated “Liverpool must win its remaining games to have a chance to finish in the top 4. Liverpool have retained the 6th spot on the Premier League table and find themselves 2 points behind 4th-placed West Ham United and a point behind 5th-placed Chelsea whom they face on Thursday in a crunch Premier League.

There are 6 teams that are eyeing for a potential Champions League spot next season.

Lets take a close look at the teams eyeing for top 4:-

1.Manchester United

United has surely secured a champions league spot as the runners-up are 5 points ahead of West Ham. Ole’s men have lost just once in the last 20 games and look set to finish in the top 4.In their remaining 12 games, Man Utd still have Liverpool, City and Tottenham left to face. With the current form Ole’s men find themselves in, they should comfortably get the top 4.Our prediction for United is to finish 2nd.

2.Leicester City

Rodgers men failed to capitalize on a chance this weekend to solidify themselves in the top 4 as they lost 3-1 to Arsenal. Leicester City would be content with the position they are in right now. Nevertheless, Leicester finds themselves an easier set of fixtures in the coming days and no European football for the remainder of the season. Rodger’s men need to get back to winning ways as their last 3 matches in the league are against Tottenham, United, and Chelsea. They lie 3rd in the table with a point behind Man Utd and 4 ahead of West Ham. Our prediction for Leicester is to finish 4th.

3.West Ham United

To Hammer’s fans’ disbelief, Moyes has turned fortunes of the club this season and West Ham finds themselves lurking in the top 4. David Moyes must be given due credit for improving players like Souchek and overachieving with a mediocre side. Many wonder how long will their incredible form last. But for now, the fans would be elated to be in a position they are in right now. West Ham have a difficult set of matches in the coming month as they face United, Arsenal, Leicester City, and Tottenham. It seems unlikely that Hammers have the guile to stay in the top 4 as they lack the experience and quality to truly be a contender for European football next season. Our perdition for West Ham is to finish 7th.

The Blues have looked a different side since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel earlier this year. They have yet to lose a game under him and are stringing good results right now. Chelsea finds themselves in the middle of the pack with a point ahead of Liverpool. They have a difficult remaining set of fixtures with away days at Liverpool and Man City. They are also hosting Arsenal and Leicester at Stamford Bridge later in the season. It looks unlikely that Blues will continue the winning run and due to the nature of their remaining fixtures. But due to the poor form shown by many teams, top 4 spots are up for grabs. Our prediction for Chelsea is to finish 3rd.

Liverpool have looked shaky and lackluster in their performances this season. Their defensive crisis has compounded a season to forget for the Reds as they aim to qualify for the Champions League next season. The Reds must come out on top against their clash against season-defining match against Chelsea next week. If they fail to do so, they would surely not be able to catch the rest of the club’s eyeing for the top 4. If they win this weekend against Chelsea, then they have an easy set of fixtures in the remaining 11 matches. Our prediction for Liverpool is to finish 5th.

Since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, the club’s fortunes have changed. They have signed players such as James Rodrigues and are currently a potential candidate for the top 4 this season. Everton finds themselves 3 points behind derby rivals Liverpool with 2 games in hand. If Ancelotti’s men manage to win their next game against Southampton, then they have a serious chance to challenge for the Europa League spot. Our prediction for Everton is to finish 6th.

Notable mention to Tottenham and Arsenal who are experiencing turbulent times with their managers. Mikel Arteta is inexperienced for the job. His only stint at the top flight was as an assistant under Guardiola at City.
